Job Summary
We are seeking a Print Services Technician in Buffalo, NY. This role supports an onsite print and office equipment environment within a professional healthcare customer setting, helping keep critical document, copier, and equipment services running smoothly.
This is a strong opportunity for troubleshooting equipment, coordinating installations, supporting end users, and working independently while staying connected with technicians and customer teams.
This role is scheduled 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform break/fix support, troubleshooting, basic repairs, installations, removals, and equipment retrofits for office and print equipment.
- Coordinate with technicians, end users, and customer teams to schedule equipment installations, removals, and service activity.
- Place service calls, order and deliver toner, maintain supplies, and support equipment parts inventory processes.
- Monitor copier and print fleet performance, clear jams, replace toner, address simple machine issues, and escalate equipment failures as needed.
- Maintain accurate reporting tools, organized work areas, service documentation, and professional communication with customers.
- Support related site services as needed, including copy center, mailroom, fulfillment, quality control, pickup/delivery, and facility support tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support installation, removal, troubleshooting, and maintenance of office equipment and print devices.
- Coordinate schedules with technicians, end users, and customer teams across an active customer site.
- Manage toner orders, service calls, fleet support tasks, and equipment performance needs.
- Maintain organized reporting, inventory, and service documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience required.
- Experience using, calibrating, troubleshooting, and supporting office equipment or complex technical equipment.
- Ability to perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting on copier, print, or office technology equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional appearance, positive attitude, and service-first approach.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage schedules, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to communicate, escalate, or ask for support.
- Ability to walk throughout the day, stand, bend, reach, push and pull equipment, and lift up to 40 lbs. independently as needed.
- Ability to use basic tools and technology, including keyboard, calculator, hand tools, and equipment controls.
- Moderate dexterity and strong eye/hand coordination required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of related field service, equipment support, print operations, or office technology experience.
- Experience with copier fleet management or convenience copier fleet support.
- Hands-on break/fix experience with copier, printer, mailroom, or production print equipment.
- Experience supporting high-end print equipment, copy center services, mailroom operations, fulfillment, bindery, or quality control.
- Experience working in a professional customer-facing site environment with multiple internal and external teams.
