Weekend Nanny Needed in Manhattan, NY
Schedule : Saturday & Sunday ~20-22 hours/weekend

Compensation : $40-$45+/hour

A warm, active Manhattan family is looking for a fun, engaging, and energetic Weekend Nanny for their adorable 20-month-old son! They’re looking for a nanny who genuinely loves this age, comes in excited for the day, and is always thinking of fun ways to keep their toddler learning, exploring, and engaged.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide warm, attentive, and engaging care for an active 20-month-old
• Take ownership of planning fun, age-appropriate activities, outings, classes, playdates, and adventures around the city
• Get creative with the weekends! Think reading, music, sensory play, parks, museums, outdoor adventures, and even themed weekends - the family would love someone who brings fresh, fun ideas to the table
• Keep his day running smoothly, including meals, naps, activities, and outings
• Handle child-related laundry and keep his belongings, play spaces, and areas neat and organized
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for him as needed
• Take initiative during downtime- if you see something that needs attention, jump in without needing to be asked
• Plan ahead for the day and upcoming activities, making sure the diaper bag, snacks, supplies, and anything else needed are packed and ready to go
• Keep parents updated throughout the day and communicate clearly about plans, outings, etc.

The Ideal Nanny:

• Brings great energy and is genuinely excited to spend the weekend with an active toddler
• Creative, playful, and responsible, with a natural ability to make the days feel fun and special
• Walks in with a plan! You’re someone who thinks ahead and comes prepared with ideas for the day.
• Thoughtful about choosing experiences that match his interests, age, and developmental stage - l oves creating a great mix of outings, classes, playdates, adventures, and even fun themed weekends
• Confident taking the lead and redirecting their toddler, even when Mom & Dad are around
• Proactive and notices the little things - whether the laundry needs to be switched, the diaper bag needs restocking, or something needs to be prepped for the next day, you’re already on it!
• Warm, reliable, safety-conscious, and a great communicator
• Excited to become a trusted, long-term part of the family’s weekend routine
