Overview
Registered Nurse - OB/GYN, travel assignment in Chanute, KS. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,168–$2,320. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Critical Access Hospital. This travel temporary assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for OB/GYN patients during night shifts, including labor and delivery support as needed
- Monitor fetal status using fetal monitoring, respond to nonreassuring patterns, and assist with deliveries when required
- Administer medications, perform routine assessments, and document findings in the EMR (Cerner)
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing teammates, and ancillary staff to coordinate care plans
- Float to Medical/Surgical units if census dictates, maintaining patient safety and quality care across a mixed caseload
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures; maintain accurate record-keeping

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or a multi-state license valid at time of submission
- Certifications at time of submission: fetal monitoring, AHA NRP, AHA BLS, and AHA ACLS
- Delivery room experience (receiving babies) required
- Prior Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- EMR experience with Cerner preferred
- Ability to work nights in a travel assignment and function in a backfill capacity
