Overview
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range $1,936-$1,964 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group following established nursing processes and standards
- Assess patients, analyze data, and contribute to accurate diagnoses and care plans
- Implement the plan of care, coordinate interdisciplinary services, and maintain a safe, healing environment
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and supervise other nursing staff as assigned; participate in quality and safety initiatives

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in California; CPR/BLS required; ACLS and PALS (AHA or ARC) required
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment; strong critical thinking and teamwork
- Work setting: Able to perform in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital and participate in a 3x12 night shift schedule
