The Role: Center Associate As a Center Associate, you are the face of The UPS Store. You will deliver world-class customer service by acting as a consultant for our customers' shipping, printing, and business needs. Key Responsibilities: * Expert Consulting: Advise customers on shipping options (UPS, USPS, etc.) and business services to provide the "best-value" solution. * Print & Document Services: Operate high-end digital copiers, binding equipment, and laminating machines. * Logistics Management: Receive, sort, and process packages for courier shipment with high accuracy. * Retail Operations: Utilize point-of-sale (POS) devices and specialized software to process transactions. * Team Collaboration: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while assisting teammates in a fast-paced environment. Who You Are (Qualifications) The ideal candidate is a fast learner who thrives in a retail environment and enjoys helping people. * Education: High school diploma or GED (Required). * Technical Savvy: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Acrobat). * Customer-Centric: Outstanding phone etiquette and verbal/written communication skills. * Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 40+ pounds regularly. * Reliability: A professional appearance and a track record of being prompt and responsible. * Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, shipping, or print services is a major plus!
