Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Python Developer to join our engineering team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable applications and APIs using Python, with solid knowledge of backend development, databases, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices.
This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python .
Develop robust backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI .
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and enterprise systems.
Work with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
Develop automated unit and integration tests.
Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and technical discussions.
Implement CI/CD practices and work with source-control systems such as Git .
Support cloud-based application development and deployment.
Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
Required Skills
5+ years of professional software development experience .
Strong hands-on experience with Python .
Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI .
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices .
Strong SQL and database development experience.
Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket .
Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest .
Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work onsite and participate in a Face-to-Face interview in Charlotte, NC .
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP .
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps .
Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms .
Experience developing event-driven applications.
Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB .
Experience with React, Angular, or other frontend technologies.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform .
Experience working in financial services, banking, healthcare, or other enterprise environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Python engineer who can independently develop backend applications, work with APIs and databases, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate effectively with an onsite engineering team.
