Coffee Lounge Barista Responsibilities

• Arrive early enough to have the Lounge completely ready to open by 8:00 AM.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, specialty drinks, and other beverages according to our recipes.
• Prepare and serve our breakfast/food items offered through the Lounge.
• Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take orders and accurately operate the POS/register, including cash and credit transactions.
• Keep the coffee bar, counters, tables, and customer areas clean and inviting throughout the shift.
• Wash dishes, pitchers, utensils, and equipment as needed.
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, coffee, milk, creamers, napkins, food items, and other supplies throughout the day.
• Monitor inventory and let management know when supplies are getting low.
• Follow proper food-safety, sanitation, handwashing, and temperature procedures.
• Keep the espresso machine, coffee equipment, refrigerators, and work areas clean and properly maintained.
• Help customers with questions about The Lounge, Moe’s, and the Clubhouse golf simulator and direct them as needed.
• Keep an eye on the Lounge and make sure customers are being taken care of even during slower periods.
• Use downtime productively—clean, stock, organize, prep, and check inventory rather than waiting for customers.
• Complete all closing duties at 1:00 PM, including cleaning equipment, wiping and sanitizing surfaces, taking care of dishes, restocking, garbage, and leaving the Lounge ready for the next shift.
• Communicate any customer concerns, equipment problems, shortages, or other issues to management.
• Be dependable and ready to work the scheduled Wednesday–Saturday morning/day shifts.
