Seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Nurse Manager, Operating Room (RN, BSN) to support the daily clinical and operational leadership of a high-acuity perioperative services department. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in managing daily Operating Room operations and workflows
• Coordinate staffing assignments and ensure appropriate shift coverage
• Support patient flow and operational efficiency across surgical services
• Serve as a clinical resource for Operating Room staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist with staff coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional development
• Help maintain departmental regulatory and accreditation readiness
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Monitor departmental performance metrics and assist with process improvement efforts
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing leadership, and support services
• Assist with scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions
• Foster a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence

REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support clinical teams
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional perioperative certifications
• Experience in a high-volume surgical environment
• Experience with performance improvement initiatives
• Previous charge nurse, team lead, or supervisory experience
