Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Naples, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent assists in the planning, coordination, and supervision of the daily maintenance and management of Wyndemere Country Club’s 27-hole championship golf facility. Working alongside the Director of Agronomy and Course Superintendent, this position provides hands-on leadership while helping deliver exceptional playing conditions, overseeing agronomic programs, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious turf professional seeking to grow into a Golf Course Superintendent role while participating in a multi-year golf course renovation.
Requirements
Previous experience in golf course maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
Current Florida pesticide license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Strong understanding of warm-season turfgrass management.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management principles.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Passion for delivering exceptional golf course conditions.
Golf course construction or renovation
Warm-season turfgrass management, including TifEagle, Platinum Paspalum, Bimini Bermuda, and Zoysia
GPS spray technology
Equipment and labor management
Compensation
$75,000 – $80,000 per year.
